The non-profit organization “National Trade Association”, hereinafter referred to as “Association”, is a non-profit establishment set up under an agreement between members of the Association with the purpose of coordinating their entrepreneurial activities in the field of retail trade, consolidating efforts aimed at meeting the requirements of their clients and customers, representing and protecting their mutual proprietary interests.
Main goals and objectives of the Association:
- Protecting the rights and interests of enterprises – members of the Association;
- Rendering assistance to members of the Association in expanding their production and social potential
- Coordinating efforts of Association members aimed at satisfying the requirements of their clients and customers;
- Promoting Russian retail trade enterprises;
- Raising profitability of Russian trade enterprises;
- Actively participating in elaboration of laws affecting the interests of Russian trade enterprises.
Services rendered by the Association to its members against membership fees:
- Representing and protecting their interests before federal and local authorities, state and other organizations, as well as international organizations, both in Russian Federation and abroad;
- Furnishing legal services in accordance with the procedure and within the limits established by the Association’s board.
- Providing promotional materials to stimulate sales during advertising campaigns;
- Providing assortment management assistance;
- Supplying normative documents regulating retail trade in Russian Federation, publishing and distributing information and reference materials;
- Providing for regular contacts with mass media, aimed at expounding the goals and objectives of the Association, promoting the Association and creating a favorable image of enterprises – members of the Association;
- Accumulating volunteered funds for execution of projects related to the goals and objectives of the Association;
- Encouraging participation of its members in Russian and foreign exhibitions both in Russian Federation and abroad;
- Analyzing legal issues arising in the process of retail trade and submitting proposals to federal and local authorities, aimed at their settlement and improvement of current legislation;
- Rendering assistance with establishment and promotion of business relations with interested foreign companies, domestic organizations and enterprises.
To achieve its charter goals and objectives, the Association is authorized under the current RF legislation to do the following:
- Represent and protect interests of its Members before federal and local authorities, state and other organizations, as well as international organizations both in Russian Federation and abroad;
- Participate in international organizations and unions;
- Freely distribute information about its activities;
- Take part in policymaking on a federal and local level in accordance with procedures established under the current legislation;
- Take initiative and submit proposals to the state authorities;
- Represent and protect its rights and the legitimate rights of its members and other entities before federal and local authorities and other organizations;
- Set up mass media and engage in publishing activities;
- Set up economic organizations having the status of legal entity;
- Set up non-profit organizations having the status of legal entity;
- Enlist the services of highly qualified consultants on part-time or contractual terms;
- Establish the procedures and amount of labor remuneration for the staff of the Association’s Executive Board and recruited specialists;
- Set up specialized funds for execution of individual target-oriented programs serving the interests of Association members;
- Build, purchase, alienate, lease or rent property;
- Fully exercise its rights provided for by the Federal Law “On non-profit organizations”;
- Carry out any activities not prohibited under the current Russian Federation legislation with a purpose of achieving the goals and objectives stipulated in the Charter of the Association.
